Los Tapatios Mexican Restaurant in Biddeford

So delicious, authentic Mexican fare, fresh, can’t be the prices and portion sizes! *Could use more wait staff as it got busy with the takeout orders & those of us eating in.

I was extremely disappointed with this place...sat at the bar, every single glass that was displayed was dirty...the bar top was sticky, there were lots of fruit flies, and a terrible smell...was given complimentary chips and salsa...the chips were stale and the salsa was not salsa at all.. it was marinara sauce. Seriously, what "Mexican" place even has marinara on hand to "accidentally" serve to guests? And my server was one of the guys that had his face painted on the wall, so he knew what he was serving...I walked out without ordering.. when telling a friend of my experience, I was told that after hours the servers sit at the bar and chain smoke beneath the dirty displayed glasses... I'll never go back.

I would not recommend ever eating here. There was only one waiter, whom was nice but was the bartender and waiter. The was running around so much to the point I thought he was going to pass out. There was 20 people dine in. It took over 45 min to get our food. Now here is the real part, the plate was so hot from being microwaved I could even touch it after 15 minutes it was put in front of me. After one bite I could not even eat any more. The meat had such a bad taste as if it was rotten. From being microwaved the shell of the burrito was rubbery.

This place doesnt deserve a star. Rice and beans were heated in a microwave as we sat and watched it happen. They had no sour cream. The drinks we ordered had no alchohol. When we did get our food the meat had no flavor. It was an awful experience and I see why the place was empty.

Super California burrito is the best!

We used to love this place. Still great food but it takes so long to get service now that we'd rather just stay home. It's irritating.

If I could give this place a zero I would. I had the three taco carnitas with rice and beans. The soggy tacos came with dry flavorless meat with think cut onions. It had no toppings and no cheese. I asked for sour cream and they had no sour cream. What Mexican restaurant has no sour cream (by the way this was at 11:30am)? I had to settle for the guacamole that looked like it was puréed. The rice was undercooked and the beans were nasty. The microwave kept ringing in the kitchen so the food is obviously not fresh. Would never entertain ever going here again.

We've been to Los Tapatios at least half a dozen times and it's excellent every time. Affordable, has all the right flavors, and portions are great. Having lived in Los Angeles, the flavors and spice fall short of my hopes, but exceeded my expectations. Easily.the best Mexican restaurant I've been to in Maine.

Poor service. Waitress didn't take serious the food allergies I expressed to her while ordering. She laughed and said she'd check on that. Odd smell coming down the stairs not just a basement smell but something like a pipe backed up.

Food was not seasoned very well. No flavor. I liked the salsa....a mild almost sweet salsa but the chips were a bit stale. Mediocre service and not very enthusiastic. They did not offer to change out the food when we complained. Price was reasonable at 5.99 for a lunch special.

Great food. Stuffed poblanos and full sized burrito are amazing.

Just ok. Bland in my opinion. No true Mexican taste. Americanized which was disappointing for how they represent. Also horrible location with little parking unless you pay. Pass.

We had amazing service and I really enjoyed everything there. The cheese sauce was awesome. The salsa was awesome. The nachos were awesome. It was just an all around good time.

They put mashed potatoes in their stuffed poblano. It was weird. Service was good. Atmosphere good. From the southern US and I'm used to cheese in a stuffed poblano (and/or meat and onions) at Mexican restaurants...not potatoes. Other than that, very friendly, nice service.

I used to go here so often when I was a local. The food is ridiculous, good deals, decent service, no wifi unfortunately, great atmosphere.

Delicious food! We ate here for the first time tonight (take out) and the food was hot and extremely satisfying! They included a nice bag of tortilla chips. We'll definitely come again!

This is the only good Mexican food around! Great prices and portions! There's some street parking and this may be difficult for those with mobility concerns. We had to do down some stairs. Not sure if there was another entrance. Food was amazing! We will recommend to everyone and be back!

Horrible first experience!!!!!!! My husband is allergic to onions and it was not shown on the menu that his plate had onions and my husband couldn’t Eat his meal. They did not include the cheese sauce I paid for on the order. I spend $52 there. I called to try and get resolution and the lady REFUSED to allow me to speak to the manager and said it was door dash problem and hung up on me. Door dash let me know, they just deliver the order. Thankfully door dash did right by me. This Restaurant should be shut down for good!!!! And that woman needs to be fired!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The food was excellent but the wait staff was very inexperienced. We received the wrong items twice and our waitress totally misunderstood the order. I would rate this with more stars, but the waitress pretty much ruined the experience.

Excellent authentic Mexican food. If your looking for good taste, this is the place. A little pricing but they always have deals and specials. Huge portions

Would have been 5. Good atmosphere. Platters were decently sized. Food was good. Margaritas were HUGE! Only finished like half of mine. However, menu was very vague and lacking in descriptions for platters. Felt rushed after being asked if I was ready to order about 3 times in 5 minutes.

Good burritos at great prices.

If your ordering for quantity the Burrito Supreme California is huge, and very tasty. And piña colada is delicious 🌸

Absolute worst. We waited for over an hour for our food which never came out and then we walked out of the restaurant. The waitress was horrible she never checked on anything for us. Her attitude was she did not care about anything. It was a very bad experience. We recommend no one ever goes to this restaurant. This restaurant should be closed and out of business.

Terrible We got five meals, two were messed up and the guacamole was just avacodo with nothing else in it. Do not recommend. Also the chips were stale. Very disappointing.

We used to like it a lot but the last two times, our stomachs could not process the greasy salty dinner orders. My dinner combination had a burrito and a taco and they both were stuffed with over fried ground meat and nothing else. Pretty much the same food - different size. No real local competition to push them to keep up their quality.In all fairness, service is excellent and their margaritas - strong!

Everything is authentic and fresh! Everything is bought local! I recommend their Ranchero mix for an entrée and their teriyaki hot wings are the best wings in Maine!! Wash it down with there 32oz bottle of Corona Famila!!! Soooo goood ! FREE Chips and homemade Salsa !!

First time trying this restaurant, safe to say that I liked it.The atmosphere is slightly off putting because of the disjointed layout and rather dated furnishings.The food was good though and reasonably priced. The beers were ice cold and the mug was large so that's a gold star right away.The staff was friendly and courteous.I will definitely be returning to try some other dishes. I should also mention they provide free chips and salsa, solid move...

Really really great food. Best Mexican in town for the price. The California burrito is huge and good no matter what meat you choose. The wings are also some of the best I've had, if you can handle the extra spicy!
